Electro Tin
An acid tin process designed for barrel and rack applications, giving high purity
deposits, which are uniformly bright with excellent solderability and fusing characteristics
even after extended storage periods.
On brass, nickel is recommended as an undercoat,
to stop zinc migration from the brass through the tin layer, having a detrimental
effect on solderability.
Typical specifications:
100% tin to BS EN 1872
Thickness 8 to 10 microns
